The tiny village of Canterano stages the annual Fiaccolata, a solemn and atmospheric nocturnal procession celebrating its patron saint, Maria SS. Regina degli Angeli.

In addition to the traditional civic and religious ceremonies there are concerts, shows of various types, games, races and competitions, finishing with a spectacular fireworks display.

If you can't make it to Canterano in August, try to get there in the second week of November, when the village celebrates la Festa del Cornuto (the Cuckold's feast)...
