The Big A Snow and Skateboard Camp at the tiny resort of Maso Corto has risen to prominence over the last few years, with more and more pro riders coming to Italy. The nearby glacier, a ten-minute cable car ride away, provides a plethora of jumps, two halfpipes and a huge hip, maintained daily by a dedicated crew.
The camp caters for all levels of rider, with a range of jumps and differing coaching levels. At the base for the Big A, Hotel Zirm, you can also engage in a number of other activities including swimming, a weight room, basketball, volleyball, five-a-side football, tennis and horse-riding.
Video coaching is also included, helping campers to see exactly what they are doing right and wrong on the slopes. Workshops are run on snowboard maintenance, teaching you how to repair, wax and generally get the most out of your board.
