The Irish Guineas Weekend is made up of the Irish 2000 Guineas on the Saturday (the first Classic race of the year) and the Irish 1000 Guineas on Sunday. Both are held at Curragh Racecourse.
Curragh Racecourse is the headquarters of Flat Racing in Ireland, hosting all five Classic Races. Horse racing is a national obsession and the track, with its historic traditions, is a perfect venue for the expression of this passion.
