Inchydoney is the first spa in Ireland to use sea water for the benefit of our souls. Thalassotherapy may be a mouthful to utter, but this natural cure is taking holistic fans by storm.

The spa offers many ways to detoxify and heal using the power of the sea. Just in case you were wondering, algotherapy has nothing to do with mathematics, but involves being gently covered with gooey seaweed and wrapped in a heat blanket for a while. You'll have to go and find out about cryotherapy and pressotherapy for yourselves, although they do have the backing of some scientific theory as well as the reputation of doing wonders for certain disorders, rheumatism for one.

In addition to lovely therapies to indulge in, the Lodge boasts a top-notch restaurant (there's no need to starve here) as well as awesome surroundings with countless other distractions - including a golf course.
