Every year the small town of Feakle hosts the Feakle Traditional Music Festival, featuring five days of music, song and dance with concerts, ceilidhs, workshops, lectures, recitals, singing and sessions.
The origins of the festival lie in the rich music tradition in the east of County Clare. The event itself started in 1998 and has now gained international status, with people coming from all over the world both to perform and enjoy the music.
