The annual Dunlavin Festival of Arts celebrates art of all kinds, including painting, sculpture, literature, choral and classical music.
The town comes alive with street entertainment, craft stalls and workshops, live music (traditional Irish, orchestra, pop), a parade, a funfair, face painting, horse and dog shows, as well as the annual poetry and short story competitions.
