You're only as old as you feel... The Bealtaine Festival, taking place around Ireland, celebrates the creativity of the elderly by putting on special music, theatre and dance workshops and performances, with participation from the older generation.
Established in 1996, the month-long festival celebrates the process of ageing and the older generation through all art forms, promoting greater participation in the arts by older people.
During last year's festival, there were over 300 independent organisers of events and some 50,000 participants, so please visit the festival website for full details of this year's programme.
