Every Tuesday night since 1996, comedians, singer/songwriters, actors, clowns, poets and other brave performing artists have gone to war on the open mic for Battle of the Axe at Ha'penny Bridge Inn to try and win the Lucky Duck Award.
This so-called "Battle of the Axe" has a bit of a reputation for being a hit-and-miss night, so be prepared for novices trying out new material.
