The Rey Cup is an international football tournament for youth teams of boys aged under 13, 14 and 16, as well as girls under 13 and 15, held at Reykjavik's Laugardalur Sport Centre.
Visitors have included teams from the football academies of Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City in England, as well as participants from other Nordic countries and, of course, all the main clubs in Iceland.
There is a minimum of four matches per team, with a final match in each age-group, awards for finalists and a trophy for the winners. There is also a fair play award, as well as prizes for the best player in each group and the best visiting club.
