The Duna Arts Ensemble has celebrated the River Danube (in Hungarian, the Duna) in a special festival throughout Budapest since 1996. The fun includes folk art events, pop concerts, exhibitions, a handicraft fair and a children's playground.
The Duna Arts Ensemble was founded in 1957 and specialises in both Hungarian folk dance and music, not only cherishing and ensuring the future of the age-old traditions, but also creating new works such as contemporary dance dramas.
