The annual Athens Festival offers an exciting programme of cultural events over the summer months. The city's most impressive venues embrace international performers of music, dance and theatre to celebrate artistic expression in all its forms.
Highlights in the past have included an insight into the Greek alternative music scene at the open-air theatre on Lycabettus Hill, a performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream at Peiraios 260 and the vocal stylings of Diana Krall and Liza Minnelli at the great Odeon of Herodes Atticus (Herodeion).
