Every year, Greek publishers and book lovers flock to the heart of the historical centre of Athens for the Athens Book Festival. Around 300 stalls line the Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian walkway on the foothills of the Acropolis. Books cost anywhere from €10 to €130 and most Greek publishing houses present their latest editions.
