Hundreds of amateur and professional skaters head for Berlin for the annual XRace. There are two separate half-marathon races, one for women and one for men, as well as a shorter course for children.
The event kicks off at Altonaer Straße, on the corner of Straße des 17 Juni, near to the Siegessäule victory column in Berlin's Tiergarten park.
