The Schleswig-Holstein Festival is one of the largest music festivals in the world - taking place over seven weeks in more than 50 venues across Northern Germany, with no fewer than 130 events.
Traditionally, the youth and the orchestral academy (the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival Orchestra) gives a number of concerts throughout the festival. Then there are myriad chamber, instrumental, jazz and choral concerts, major concerts by visiting orchestras and artists, open-air concerts and masterclasses.
If you cannot find something to like here, then - quite simply - there is no pleasing you!
