Karl May's Wild West story, Winnetou I, comes to Bad Segeberg's open-air stage this summer. The action-packed performances feature original costumes, a dramatic musical score and stunning fire stunts, making the most of one of Europe's most scenic theatres.
Founded in 1952, the festival has become a highlight in the region's calendar, attracting thousands of Wild West fans every year. An Indian village springs up next to the theatre and mischievous cowboys lurk around every corner.
