One for chocolate devotees, Fassbender & Rausch is not your average chocolatier. To entice passers by to stock up on chocolate goodness the window displays contain models of famous landmarks, all made out of chocolate...
Once you've got over how many man-hours it took to build these models (and the fact that touching them is sadly forbidden!) you may find yourself getting carried away among the variety of Rausch plantation chocolate.
If you can't wait till you get home to get stuck in, then there's also a cafe and newly-opened restaurant where you can treat yourself to hot chocolate and cake. The cafe also overlooks the pretty Gendarmenmarkt square. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon in Berlin, especially when winter descends.
