The annual Altonale Festival hits the streets of Hamburg's Altona district. This feast of fun and frivolity brightens up the summer in a blaze of colour, music and dance, offering a unique line-up of artistic performances and colourful parades.

Performing arts, world music and puppeteers line the streets to celebrate, making for some fun-packed family entertainment. The main parade features an endless stream of marching bands, quirky performers and spectacular costumes.
