have you ever wanted to climb above the treetops, swing from branch to branch like Tarzan or balance on a hanging bridge suspended ten metres above the forest floor? Try Kenzingen's Abenteuer-im-Wald (Adventures in the Forest).
Said to improve determination, self-confidence and sense of balance, the forest's narrow hanging bridges, platforms, ropes, swings and nets form an elevated playground of giant proportions. Spanning 50 trees, the activity park tests skill, nerves and stamina. All visitors are properly equipped with helmet, gloves and belt, and professional staff are on hand to help.
Those with a fear of heights may tremble at the mere thought of this place, but fear not, as the centre even offers unique training courses to combat altophobia. Children that are too small (under 1.40 metres) to use the equipment can enjoy the activity camp with its scaled-down climbing apparatus.
For further details of packages, courses and events, please visit the Adventures in the Forest website.
