Just ten minutes' drive from the bustling Val d'Isère Ski Resort is the peaceful Montriond Lake, surrounded by forest. Frozen over in winter, an unusual sport is offered here - diving under ice.
Qualified guides will initiate you into this daredevil sport. As you remain linked at all times to your instructor even when you're six metres under water, you will have nothing to fear - apart from being a touch cold. Diving under ice is suitable for all healthy individuals with a thirst for a new experience, aged 16 years and above. All equipment is provided.
Once underwater, you will see dazzling reflections of the bright ice. An experience you will definitely not forget!
