Confolens prides itself on the fact that its annual International Folkore Festival is known all over the world. The event brings together artists from around the globe for a colourful celebration of diversity.
From toe-tappingly good steel bands on street corners to the formation dancing of a Vietnamese ensemble, the festival offers a rare chance to travel the world in a day. The picturesque little town is packed out with both international performers and over 300,000 visitors.
