Every November a special Christmas Fair takes over the stables and Orangery of the Abbey Chaalis. Over 40 stall-owners congregate to sell delicious Burgundy, Alsace and Anjou wines as well as champagne from the Marne Valley.
Christmas foods such as foie gras and Picardy macaroons are also on sale, along with gifts in wicker, wood and iron, clothes and jewellery.
