Christmas in Les Menuires ski resort is celebrated in traditional seasonal style - with a living nativity scene and papillotes - the regional delicacy for chocaholics.
As night falls there is a torchlit skiing procession and fireworks. The religious aspect of events is restored in time for Midnight Mass, held in the Salle Polyculturelle in the Croisette quarter.
