The Tampere International Theatre Festival is the oldest professional theatre festival in Scandinavia, presenting companies from Finland and all over the world. Expect drama, street theatre, music theatre and dance, as well as workshops, seminars, exhibitions and other meetings.
This year, as usual, the principle features are the Main Programme, the city centre Programme Marquee, the free admission Encorebaana Club Festival, the OFFTampere fringe festival for all would-be performers, and the carnival atmosphere of the Great Nocturnal Happening.
