Taking place at the meeting-point of the Häme, Savo and Central Finland regions, the Joutsa Folk Festival offers a very distinctive atmosphere in a very distinctive place.
The programme explores Finnish heritage and culture and offers a huge variety of entertainment from many fields. As well as being essentially a heritage festival, it promises to provide the best in Finnish music - if you go, prepare to join in with the songs (there's no need to know the words, especially after a few vodkas).
