The diving sites around Sharm El-Sheikh are world famous for their stunning coral reefs. Ras Um Sidd is among the most accessible spots, offering endless scope for boat and shore diving.

The shore reef drops down from the surface to around 20 metres, providing divers with an optimum environment to see the diverse marine life, though in some areas it drops even deeper, so don't get too carried away. Nearby are a wall of magnificent Gorgonia fan corals covering a large area, a swim-through cavern and the Tower, a fine diving beach famous for the huge coral pillar which drops 60 metres into the water.
