Every Summer Frederikssund goes back in time to celebrate the Vikings with the outdoor performance of a play exploring Viking legends.
Even if you don't speak Danish, the atmosphere in the town is evocative enough to make a trip worth it - everyone involved dresses up and acts like a Viking, and there's a Viking market and feast too.
The open-air stage is next to a Viking village where the actors move about and pass time between their bouts on stage. Please check the website for exact times and prices of performances.
