The annual summer Father Christmas & Christmas Elves Congress features Santas from Europe, USA, Canada and Japan. Six months before the big day, the Santas of the world gather with their helpers at Bakken Amusement Park, Copenhagen.
This is - besides Christmas itself - their most important event and the only time when they can meet to discuss important issues such as better rooftop parking conditions and standards of chimney-cleaning. The event (now in its fourth decade) also features a traditional paddling session in the Baltic, a parade through the city centre, open-air shows and plenty of Christmas dinners.
Just be prepared to explain to your kids why there is more than one Santa....
