Subtitled "A Sea of Adventures", Denmark's Aquarium is located just outside Copenhagen and provides a wonderful introduction to the world beneath the waves. Kids will adore this place and they might even learn something too!
The aquarium boasts spectacular tropical and sea-water landscape tanks filled with 3000 fish, as well as aquatic mammals from all over the world. One particular thrill is the touching pool, where kids can actually have close encounters with the creatures of the deep and touch their scales if they dare. Make sure you arrive for feeding time, which is when the action really hots up!
There is a striking restaurant and cafe, with tables surrounded by tanks of fish, where you can relax and have a bite to eat after your day out.
