Enjoy folkloric music and dance and sample local grape products such as the traditional palouze during this charming traditional village fair in Arsos. It's worth a visit to see how the rural Cypriots let their hair down.

While Cypriot wines may not enjoy similar coverage to even Bulgarian wines, the island can justifiably claim that it deserves better international recognition. Alongside Chile, Cyprus can boast that it is one of the few wine-producing countries whose vines have never been blemished with phylloxera - which has led to strict customs controls on other vines.
