The Zagreb Film Festival, at the Student Centre, includes debut films (first or second films in a career), features, shorts and documentaries by directors from around the world.
It was at this festival that German feature film The Life of Others by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck won its first awards, both from the audience and the jury.
The festival award is called the Golden Pram. The winning feature film goes home with 5000 euros, while the best short and doumentary win 1500 euros each. The audience's first choice walks away with 1000 euros.
