The medieval town of Labin has a rich cultural history, which is explored at the town's museum. It provides an interesting excursion from the coastal resort of Rabac three miles away.
One of the most interesting features of the museum is a miniature coal mine, which gives a unique insight into the lives of the miners who once excavated coal from the mountains around the town.
