The Cayman Islands' annual arts festival presents a week of cultural events in a multitude of venues, from jazz and classical concerts to educational workshops and art exhibitions. In 2008 the African Children's Choir and the touring Garden Opera are two of the festival's highlights.
In previous years some of the participating artists included the New York-based Harlem Gospel Choir and jazz funk master Roy Ayers. Spectators also had the opportunity to take to the stage during the theatrical performance by The Better Read than Dead Society, Cayman's experimental drama group.
