Campbellton hosts a festival dedicated to that delicious, pink and oily fish, the versatile salmon. Sample them raw, steamed, fried, baked or made into mousse.
Many events are organised for all ages, including a 10km road race, Miss and Little Miss Salmon Festival Pageants, Canada Day celebrations with giant fireworks, salmon suppers and a gigantic parade.
