Calgary's Heritage Park Historical Village opened in 1964 with 27 exhibits and assorted rail stock. It has since grown to include more than 150 exhibits that help bring the area's heritage to life for visitors.
The park covers the history of the area pre-1914, from the fur trading era of the 1860s to the prairie town era circa 1910. Costumed actors explain the old-fashioned way of life and make a visit an unforgettable experience.
