Mistassini in Quebec claims to be the blueberry capital of the world, and the well-established annual Blueberry Festival offers blueberry-themed cooking and decorating demonstrations, shows and contests, as the organisers set about their task of promoting this wonderful little fruit.
There is also a night parade, while the event wraps up with a taste of a giant blueberry pie for all spectators to enjoy.
