In the summer months, Sarajevo's old Turkish quarter is a delightful place in which to while away the hours. Throughout July, the Bascarsija Nights festival offers a selection of folk dancing, opera, classical concerts, ballet, poetry, rock and romance. The programme also includes art exhibitions and children's events.
