The oldest building in Antwerp makes a fine home for Belgium's only maritime museum.

With a collection that ranges from a uniform button to boats, the museum charts the history of seamanship in Belgium. Numerous exhibits examine early trading, fishing, the Belgica expedition to the South Pole, ferry routes and shipbuilding.
