Guido Gezelle was a noted poet and Roman Catholic priest from Bruges and this museum, located in the house where he was born, traces his story.
The house is a reconstruction of the original interior and contains a number of exhibits including books, documents, souvenirs and mementoes. The museum also has a large garden.
