Inside a medieval mansion house lies the Gruuthuse Museum, a museum containing a massive variety of objects that shed light on Bruges in the period from the 15th to the 19th centuries.
The museum's collection includes art, furniture, silverware, metal ware, ceramics and textiles and together they conjure up what the city might have been like in its glory days.
Please note that the museum is undergoing major renovations and will be closed until December 19, 2007.
