One of Antwerp's most happening clubs can be found in the heart of its red light district. Previously a cinema, the Café d'Anvers (or just the Café) has been on the go since 1989 and is still going strong.
Top Belgian and international DJs are joined by a host of resident DJs including, pushing the boundaries of electronic dance music. House, tech-house, techno and slamming garage are mixed with jazzy, funky grooves and a smattering of heavy dub, rap and rare groove.
This is a big club with the emphasis on art and glamour. Its founders were a couple well-matched for such a venture (he a super model, she a photographer) and together they have created one of the grandest clubs in Belgium.
