Graz hosts springsix, Austria's largest festival for electronic art and music. International electronic acts, DJs and visual artists transform the city into a large beat-stomping party zone.
Representing a broad range of electronic music styles, acts from all over the world play in 12 venues across town. In addition to the regular club venues, parties usually take place at the Dom im Berg, a snazzy club inside the Schlossberg, the city's centre for popular culture known as the pcc, as well as at the open-air lounge Parkhouse. The musical programme is accompanied by VJ workshops and talks with DJs and artists.
Now attracting more than 12,000 music fans, the event has grown massively since its rather humble beginnings in 2001 and has become one of the country's most popular music festivals.
