The white substance rules the day as the winter haven of Seefeld hosts its annual Snow Festival, featuring colossal ice sculptures, open-air discos and a large firework display.
From the Wednesday before the climax of this festival you can watch the local artists as they create their sculptures. On the Saturday all the sculptures are finished and the town celebrates with a big party.
