The Salzburg Culture Days, Kulturtage, mount concerts and operas in the most cultured of cities during October. The programme takes place over a fortnight in some of the city's most prominent venues, including the Grosses Festspielhaus.
In 2008 the festival opens with a production of Puccini's Turandot, which is sung in the original Italian with German surtitles. Other composers featured include Ravel, Schubert and Mozart.
