Every year Klagenfurt hosts Altstadtzauber, or Old Town Magic, a colourful, traditional street celebration in the city's historic centre that attracts 100,000 visitors.
The streets are filled with acrobats, juggling and comedy performances, and the music programme ranges from jazz and blues to rock and soul, taking place on nine stages. Culinary specialities lurk around every corner and magicians stroll about, always up for a little trickery.
