WOMADelaide welcomes the world of music, art and dance to Adelaide's Botanic Garden for a three-day, child-friendly celebration of multicultural artistic endeavour.
Respected artists from around the globe perform on six stages and also discuss, teach and share their music and art, giving the audience a unique insight into their work.
Each year the full programme is released in mid-January, while very other year (even numbers), WOMADelaide also becomes part of the biennial Adelaide Festival. In 2008 the festival included performances by artists from Australia, France, Brazil, Japan, Russia, Cambodia and many more. If you're into world music, alternative lifestyles and giving your kids the opportunity for some outdoor fun, then this is the place for you.
