Held annually since the inaugural championship in 1979, Huntingdale Golf Club is the home of the Australian (now MasterCard) Masters.
Greg Norman - Australia's "Great White Shark" - won here six times, including his 1987 record-smashing romp and his victory over Nick Faldo three years later. More recent winners have included Robert Allenby and Colin Montgomerie. Allenby was the 2005 champion, adding to his 2003 title, while Justin Rose won in 2006.
Before the competition proper there are the usual two practice days on the Monday and Tuesday and the now traditional Pro-Am tournament on the Wednesday.
