San Telmo's café-lined Plaza Dorrego bursts with stalls offering all manner of antiques, trinkets and tango memorabilia at the Sunday San Telmo Market. Find elegant gramaphones, blue glass soda syphons from Buenos Aires' old café's and more.
Don't be surprised if you discover some art deco or art nouveau masterpieces among the furniture and booty. These are likely to be remnants of Buenos Aires' golden age when the aristocracy boasted tastes as lavish as those of London, Vienna and Paris.
