Parque 3 de Febrero in Palermo is one of the largest parks in Buenos Aires. Park-goers take boats out on one of the three lakes, play tennis, sunbathe and relax in the rose garden.
The park is also home to the city's Planetarium and was named in celebration of the defeat of former President Sarmiento's rival General Juan Manuel de Rosas on 3 February 1852.
