Bringing together two of Buenos Aires' most prominent passions, Palermo Fashion & Wines is a successful venture that takes place in the trendy young barrio of Palermo Viejo, at the junction of Armenia and Honduras streets.
On the third Fridays of September, October and November, the boutiques and fashion shops along Armenia and Honduras each represent a national winery (bodega) and throw open their doors for the public to browse their collections while sipping the nominated wine of the night.
The first night of the event pays homage to Malbec, Argentina's pride and glory vine, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon on the second night, and finally Merlot, white and sparkling wines on the final evening. The event is relatively new on the scene, and in the future the organisers hope to spread out to other barrios of the city during other months of the year. Recoleta Fashion & Wines in March, April and May has already been officially programmed.
Please check the festival website for exact future dates and locations. Tickets are available from the Ticketek website.
