Held every Sunday, the Mataderos Fair showcases Argentinian handicrafts and promotes the country's popular traditions. There are three main areas devoted to traditional handicrafts, artistic performances and gaucho displays, the fair features competitions, traditional games, popular dances and regional food.
Free workshops provide insights into loom weaving, guitar playing, wood engraving, folklore and tango dance.
